چکیده
Wound healing is a complex and well-orchestrated process to keep our skin intact. This delicate repair often gets disrupted in patients with underlying causes. However, the effective wound therapy lacking due limited knowledge of related molecular pathogenesis. In this study, we performed paired small RNA (miRNA) long (circular mRNA) sequencing human tissue samples, including matched acute wounds collected at each stage (Day 1 Day 7) chronic non-healing venous ulcers (VU). Based on these transcriptomic data, developed two user-friendly compendia deployed server (miRNA Shiny app: https://www.xulandenlab.com/humanwounds-mirna-mrna, circRNA https://www.xulandenlab.com/humanwounds-circrna), which will be an open, comprehensive resources broadly aid research. resources, visualized easily single expression changed patterns miRNA, mRNA acoross different conditions. addition, also identified several circRNAs miRNAs, can perturb cellular processes inflammation, migration, proliferation healing. Findings study provide rich resource for developing targets treating no-healing wounds.

Long non-coding RNAs and their significance in human diseases
Protein-coding genes account for only a small fraction of the human genome and most of the genomic sequences are transcriptionally silent, but recent observations indicate significant functional elements, including non-coding protein transcripts in the human genome. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been defined as transcripts of >200 nucleotides without protein-coding capacity that perform t...
متن کاملThe Role of Long Non-Coding RNAs in Ovarian Cancer
Background: Ovarian cancer is the most fatal tumor of female's reproductive system, and several genetics and environmental factors are involved in its development. Various studies have already identified suitable biomarkers to facilitate the early detection, prognosis evaluation, and the assessment of treatment response. However, the aim of this review was to investigate the role of long non-co...
متن کاملThe Role of Long Non Coding RNAs in the Repair of DNA Double Strand Breaks
DNA double strand breaks (DSBs) are abrasions caused in both strands of the DNA duplex following exposure to both exogenous and endogenous conditions. Such abrasions have deleterious effect in cells leading to genome rearrangements and cell death. A number of repair systems including homologous recombination (HR) and non-homologous end-joining (NHEJ) have been evolved to minimize the fatal effe...

متن کاملRibosome profiling reveals resemblance between long non-coding RNAs and 5' leaders of coding RNAs.
Large-scale genomics and computational approaches have identified thousands of putative long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). It has been controversial, however, as to what fraction of these RNAs is truly non-coding. Here, we combine ribosome profiling with a machine-learning approach to validate lncRNAs during zebrafish development in a high throughput manner. We find that dozens of proposed lncRNAs...
